As a performer, I often felt limited by the industry and its expectations.

 

When I found photography, I started to {realize} I had the most freedom I had ever had to express myself artistically.

No one’s telling me how I have to dress

or look

or feel.

 

No one is telling me where I have to go next or who I should know

{or who should know me}.

 

I’ve gained clarity, autonomy, confidence.
It’s intimidating, because all things considered- I’m still fairly new at this.

 

My incredibly talented and encouraging fiancé Tyler Milliron

put a camera in my hands 5 years ago and in that moment,

I chose to dive in.

I chose to switch career paths after I had spent

nearly 30 years of my life dedicated to a different craft.

And now I get to combine all of my life experiences into one focus. Through my lens, I get to step out of the {haze}

and into a world of endless opportunities.
